Echinopsis obrepanda is a widespread species in central to southern Bolivia (to northern Argentina), growing in moderate altitudes on the eastern Andean slopes. In this population close to Punata, Cochabamba, different flower colors can be found, from white to red in all shades of pink, purple or orange.
